Inaugural IAPS Debate Competition 2026
Huge congratulations to Year 8 pupils Zoya A B and Emily K for achieving an incredible second place in the UK in the inaugural IAPS Debate Competition.
Competing against schools from across the country, with teams travelling from as far as Scotland, the girls impressed throughout the competition held at Merchant Taylors’ Prep School. In the final round, they confidently defended the motion that the voting age should not be lowered to fourteen years old, demonstrating exceptional composure, critical thinking and teamwork.
An outstanding achievement to become runners-up in the IAPS Cup.
